At Kids R Us Dentistry in Southwest Calgary, Dr. Sandra Schwann is our pediatric dentist specializing in children's dental care.
Dr. Schwann has specialized in pediatric dentistry for almost 30 years. She received her doctor of dental surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Schwann then continued to do her pediatric specialty training at the Oregon Health Sciences University. She moved to Calgary to start an associateship practice before later beginning her own solo practice.
Dr. Schwann is a board certified pediatric dentist, attaining her diplomate from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as her fellowship in both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She is currently a member of the Canadian, American, and Alberta Academies of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Schwann has been married since 1989 and has four children. She enjoys reading, walking, travelling, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Street-Wadey is a general dentist and has practiced in Calgary for over 20 years. She is a native Calgarian and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Western Ontario.
During the first half of her dentistry career, Dr. Street-Wadey owned a general dentistry practice in the Chinook Centre Professional Building and was a clinical instructor in the dental assisting program at SAIT.
In 2009, Dr. Street-Wadey joined Dr. Schwann’s practice. Volunteerism is very important to her and she is a current volunteer with the Alex Dental Health Bus, Calgarians for Kids’ Health, and at her child’s school.
Dr. Street-Wadey is married, has one child and a little dog named Pixie. She and her family enjoy skiing, hiking and traveling.
